The coronavirus has been around for more than twelve months forcing everyone to think whether or not the ongoing pandemic might possibly be the beginning of the end of the world as we know it. That the changes seem to be “inexorably inevitable” might be the right phrase to express the ubiquitous feeling of uncertainty.

“Has the coronavirus been exerting a positive or negative influence on the quality of our lives? Does it change our notion of personal freedom? Do restrictions introduced by governments violate human rights as such?” –are the question which will be discussed during the oxford debate that will take place on 25 April 2021 at 10:10 am.
