At this special meeting, the Polish Language & Culture Centre hosted international course participants and students of UŁa.
First, there was a presentation of Polish traditions and customs.
Then, the participants had a chance to tell their fortune and learn the names of their future beloved.
Fortune-telling was the most popular activity among the participants. There were different types of fortune-telling: by pouring wax or peeling apples, by seeing the future under a pillow, by shooting at names placed in a heart and by looking into cups.
A sweet treat and perfumed candles completed the mysterious mood of St. Andrew’s Day.
