The databases are available from all computers on the of the Lazarski University, via Lazarski Wi-Fi and outside the University for users who have active library account.

Acland’s Video Atlas of Human Anatomy is Lippincott's online platform for the delivery of more than 300 narrated videos of real cadaver specimens. You can navigate the videos by volume; each volume is further divided by region for ease of selection and reference in syllabi/ lectures. Each video is listed below its corresponding region, along with video number, title, and length.
CEIC databases help analysts and economists make sense of the world economy. Please note that the new system uses personal email and self-selected password for access.
Each student/user will see two options on startup: use the platform as a guest only from the designated IP, or register with their personal email (the screen that you see on startup). In the second case they will be able to create personalized insights and save their work to get back to it later, so it is recommended that each user registers with their own credentials. There is no limit on how many registered personal emails there could be.
In the new platform there is also a great new feature which allows all registered users to download data to excel and refresh, check for new updates, apply formulas, etc. directly in Excel. Once logged in, you will see a prompt to download the CDMNext Excel add-in from the CEIC website.

Ibuk Libra is the largest full-text service of academic textbooks and research books in Poland. The university's network includes books selected by Lazarski University, most of which are compulsory reading at the faculties: Economics and Management, Medical and Law and Administration. The Polish-English and English-Polish PWN Oxford Dictionary is available as part of Ibuk Libra.

Polish Platform of Medical Research is the portal for managing knowledge and research potential, which enables archiving and sharing on an open access basis full texts, including: articles, monographs, chapters, other documents, or raw research data, in accordance with the OA licenses on which they were published. The partners of the project, which was financed by the European Union, are medical universities from Białystok, Gdańsk, Katowice, Lublin, Szczecin, Warsaw, Wrocław (Leader) and the Institute of Occupational Medicine in Łódź.
The database is available for each user without logging in.
Proquest Ebook Central is our most comprehensive database of full-text books, majority of which are in English, and with the English interface only, but we subscribe to it mostly for its three subjects:
Business/Management (over 19,000 titles)
Economics (over 9,000 titles).
Within all the subjects books can be browsed, but if they are not marked as „available”, the duration of reading is restricted to 5 mins. Books which we search with the „owned and subsrcibed to by your library” option ticked, can be read online as well as downloaded.

PubMed is a database that indexes information about medical publications. PubMed contains over 30 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, science journals, and online books. Citations may direct to full-text content from PubMed Central and publishers' websites.

Science Direct Full-text peer-reviewed journals, articles, book chapters and open access content, mostly – published by Elsevier. The database hosts over 12 million pieces of content from 3,500 academic journals and 34,000 e-books. It is brought to you by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Poland.
Published by Elsevier, Scopus is the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature: scientific journals (over 22,000 of them), books and conference proceedings. Delivering a comprehensive overview of the world's research output in the fields of science, technology, medicine, social sciences, and arts and humanities, Scopus features smart tools to track, analyze and visualize research. Opposite to its main competitor, Web of Science, 60% of its indexed titles are published outside of the USA.
Please be advised that Scopus is a bibliography, and not a full-text journal platform. However, if you click on View at publisher, you will be redirected to the publisher’s platform, which may have a full text to be accessed. If this University has the access to that source (i.e. subscribes to the journal, perhaps in the framework of the Virtual Library of Science or a consortial agreement), it will all be browsable for you, and in most cases you will even be able do download a pdf file.
Also, remember that you can choose to register. The service is accessible within the University area notwork, but if you have your own username and password, you will be able to use it ouside of the campus.

It offers abstracts and not full texts of works that you search, but can redirect you to the full-text versions of those items to which you have access.
