Rankings and awards

  • Lazarski University won not one but two first awards in the competition for the best creative university enrolment campaign organised by Wydawnictwo Perspektywy: 1st place in the enrolment-supporting press ad category and 1st place in the enrolment website category.
  • According to Perspektywy's prestigious ranking, Lazarski holds the third position among private universities offering long-cycle studies. We have held this high position among all private Polish universities offering long-cycle studies for two years now.
  • Lazarski's Faculty of Law and Administration was ranked first among private universities in the 12th Ranking of Law Faculties prepared by "Dziennik Gazeta Prawna". In the classification encompassing all public and private universities Lazarski was ranked sixth; this means that our University overtook as many as 10 public and 13 private universities in the general classification.
  • After reviewing the applications in the 3rd Polish Competition and Major Accreditation Programme "Studies with a Future", the Certification Committee awarded the Certificate and the "Studies with a Future" Quality Brand to third post-graduate courses put forward by Lazarski University Centre for Postgraduate Studies. Under the Committee's decision, the Certificate and the "Studies with a Future" Quality Brand was awarded to the following courses: MBA in Healthcare, Lean Management, and Quality Excellence. Lead Auditor ISO 9001.
  • In the third ranking prepared by "Rzeczpospolita", Lazarski University Student Law Clinic was ranked first among law clinics of public and private universities.
  • Lazarski University was among those qualified for funding as part of the project "The best of the best! 3.0. ". Elwira Targońska and Aleksandra Detyniecka, students of the Faculty of Law and Administration, together with a three-person team, received support in the amount of PLN 21,000 for the implementation of the project entitled Participation of Lazarski University students at the X International Air Law Moot Court Competition.
  • The Memorial Chamber has been entered into the University Museum Catalog. Łazarski University as one of the few non-public universities was included in the group of over 60 Universities, whose museum units are entered into the Catalog of university museums.

Our employees' distinctions

  • In the List of 100 Most Influential People in the Polish Healthcare System, Małgorzata Gałązka-Sobotka, PhD was ranked nine among people who had the biggest positive impact on the Polish healthcare system.
  • In February, Professor Eligiusz Krześniak was appointed the newest arbiter at CAS, the international Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne.
  • Michał Kuź, PhD was appointed member of the Young Scientists Council. The Council consults the Polish Minister of Science and Higher Education.
  • • Lazarski University Faculty of Law and Administration lecturer Ewelina Milan, MA served as a juror at the National Client Consultation Competition in Ukraine.
  • Ms Małgorzata Gałązka-Sobotka was nominated to the Woman in Medicine 2018 title.
  • Ostap Kushnir, PhD is the second academician affiliated with Lazarski University to publish a book in the USA. His work bears the title “Ukraine and Russian neo-imperialism: The divergent break.”
  • Dr Małgorzata Gałązka-Sobotka was awarded the Portrait of Polish Medicine during the 14th Health Market Forum.
  • Dr hab. n. med. Łukasz Szarpak, lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, was appreciated for his contribution to shaping the position of the journal "Kardiologia Polska" among Polish and foreign clinical periodicals. The lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine has been awarded the Polish Cardiology Award.
  • Dr hab. n. med. Łukasz Szarpak also became a finalist of the 2018 Science Awards.
  • Professor dr hab. med. Przemysław Juszczyński has been awarded the Minister of Science and Higher Education prize for outstanding scientific achievements.
  • Lecturer at WEiZ Krzysztof Beck received the distinction of the President of the National Bank of Poland for one of the best doctoral dissertations. PhD thesis "Determinants of synchronization of business cycles in the European Union countries" also took the third place in the GUS competition for the best doctoral dissertation.

Achievements of our students and alumni

  • March saw Lazarski University Faculty of Law and Administration students taking part for the first time in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. The team operates under the aegis of the Student Law Clinic and with the support of the Lazarski University Foundation.
  • Lazarski alum Edyta Przybyłek was awarded the Golden Laurel of Skills and Competence in the Entrepreneurial Woman category.
  • Lazarski University Faculty of Law and Administration alum Andrzej Zinkiewicz achieved the 3rd place in the competition organised by the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection for the best MA thesis on competition protection.
  • Martyna Kwaśniewska (Lazarski University Law Clinic) and Renata Androsovyc of the joint Lazarski-Frycz team were ranked second in the National Client Consultation Competition.
  • Hubert Hurkacz won Poznań Open 2018 (ATP Challenger Tour) on clay courts.
  • Master's thesis of Margareta Khvostova, titled "The contemporary challenges of human rights narrative" was honored with the third degree award in the competition of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for the best master's thesis in the field of contemporary international relations for 2017.
  • Lazarski University students have created a comprehensive device that allows you to optimize the logistics processes of "Smart Supply Solutions".
  • Five-member team of students "Lazarski Insight" under the supervision of dr hab. Marcin Łupiński, prof. UŁ from the Department of Finance and Banking took part in the international competition CFA Institute Research Challenge.

Rankings and awards

  • In the latest reference assessment of academic entities, Lazarski University Faculty of Law and Administration was classified as  A category. The Committee appreciated the Faculty's development, especially with respect to the "academic potential" and "academic achievements" criteria.
  • Lazarski University was classified third in the ranking of private universities offering long-term studies held the "Perspektywy" magazine. This year, our University is ranked one position higher than in 2017. We gained the most points in "academic potential" (85.6%) and "graduates on the labour market" (84.9%) categories.
  • Maintaining the leading position among private universities in the "Dziennik Gazeta Prawna" ranking serves as a confirmation of the Faculty of Law and Administration's outstanding reputation. It is already the ninth time in the 11-year-long history of the ranking that our University has achieved the first position. The Faculty of Law and Administration of Lazarski University left its competitors far behind, gaining a total of 96.75 points which gave it an advantage of ten-odd points over the next rival in line. Meanwhile, in the ranking covering law faculties of public and private universities, Lazarski's Faculty of Law and Administration was ranked seventh.
  • In the ranking of all Polish universities ("Perspektywy" ranking), Lazarski University assumed the 35th position, moving up 15 positions versus the previous year. This result arose from several crucial components, such as innovativeness (9%), graduates on the labour market (18%), and internationalisation (15%). Academic efficiency and academic potential were the most important factors, weighing 35% in total
  • Lazarski University has officially become a member of CEEMAN, an international association whose aim is to accelerate the boost in quality in the field of management sciences in Central and Eastern Europe. It is a global network of institutions interested in education quality and innovations. CEEMAN comprises over 210 institutional and individual members from over 50 countries in Europe, North America, Latin America, Africa, and Asia.
  • Lazarski University joined the global school network Santander Universidades. Our agreement provides for undertakings aimed at, among other things, increasing education quality, supporting research and academic activity, conducting projects and publishing their results, and promoting international exchange.
  • Lazarski University was recognised as one of Healthcare Leaders. We received a Bronze Leader award in the Innovative Healthcare Concepts category. We have been recognised for our innovative approach to educating healthcare personnel and pro-active educational approach. The ceremonial gala was held during the 22nd International Congress of the National Healthcare System "Innovative Healthcare." Experts and lecturers of the MBA in Healthcare programme at the Centre for Postgraduate Studies shared their experience during the "Success Factors in Managing Healthcare Institutions" session. 
  • The Certification Commission of the second edition of the National Study Major Accreditation Programme "Studies with a Future" awarded a Certificate and a "Studies with a Future" Quality Brand to two majors under the aegis of the Faculty of Economics and Management and the Centre for Postgraduate Studies of Lazarski University. The Certificate and the Quality Brand were granted to the following majors: "Neuroleadership” and "Organising and Managing Clinical Trials”. The same distinctions were also awarded to the  "Aviation Law” major at the Faculty of Law and Administration.  Moreover, the "Neuroleadership" programme was awarded the Extraordinary Certificate "Leader in Education Quality." These majors were recognised as innovative and modern study programmes in Poland. The substantive organiser of the "Studies with a Future" Programme is the Foundation for the Development of Education and Higher Education.
  • The Faculty of Economics and Management's Institute of Healthcare Management, where Małgorzata Gałązka-Sobotka, PhD heads the Sectoral Council for Healthcare and Social Aid Competence programme within the scope of the Knowledge, Education, Development Operating Programme, conducts a project entitled "Competences for Healthcare Sector Management" aimed, among other things, at increasing analytical capabilities and internal audit skills among administrative and management employees of healthcare institutions.
  • Doctoral studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration of Lazarski University were launched on 12 April 2017. The enrolment procedure is in full swing and the studies will begin in academic year 2017/2018.
  • A doctoral seminar in juridical science was launched in academic year 2016/2017, allowing to achieve the degree of PhD in law.
  • The Final of the 2nd Polish Legal Contest in Civil Rights and Freedoms under the aegis of the Civil Rights Ombudsman Adam Bodnar was held in March 2017.
  • A new Institute of Bankruptcy and Recovery Law and Bankruptcy Research was founded at the Faculty. Enrolment in the new second-cycle studies Law in Business major was launched this year.
  • In January 2017, the Faculty of Law and Administration received a consent from the Regional Court in Warsaw to register the third academic journal "Veritas Iuris" addressed to young academics and doctoral students.

Faculty distinctions

  • In January 2017, Małgorzata Gałązka-Sobotka, PhD was featured among top ten people with the greatest positive impact on the Polish healthcare system in the 14th edition of the 100 List of "Puls Medycyny" ranking. It is a very valuable distinction, as it is an expression of the medical community's recognition of the winner's activity and achievements.
  • In June, Andrzej Kurnicki, PhD from the Department of Finance and Banking of the Faculty of Economics and Management was appointed Poland's ambassador to Canada by President Andrzej Duda.
  • Professor Artur Kuś, PhD habil. was appointed judge of the Voivodship Court of Administration in Warsaw by the President of Poland.
  • On 20 January 2017, Assistant Professor Anna Konert, PhD habil. was appointed judge of the arbitration court in Bucharest for a three-year term.
  • In April 2017, the Minister of Development and Finance appointed Assistant Professor Przemysław Szustakiewicz, PhD habil. member of the National Chamber of Appeals qualification committee.
  • Mr Mariusz Godlewski was appointed member of the Bar Exam Commission as the representative of the Polish Bar Council.
  • Bartłomiej Opaliński, PhD was nominated by the Polish People's Party (PSL) to the Review Commission analysing reprivatisation irregularities in Warsaw.
  • In June 2017, Grzegorz Kądzielawski, PhD was appointed Vice President of Grupa Azoty.
  • On 10.05.2017, Grzegorz Kędzierzawski, MA was awarded the PhD degree in law.
  • Lazarski University Centre for Logistics and Innovation, headed by Assistant Professor Aleksandra Laskowska-Rutkowska, PhD habil., in cooperation with the Polish Supply Management Leaders analysed the consequences of reactivating and developing a new Silk Road for the Polish and European transportation and logistics industry. The works gave rise to establishing an initiation group which, under the aegis of the PSML and in cooperation with Polish and Chinese institutions, will draft recommendations for the Ministry of Development regarding the establishment of a Polish logistics hub servicing Silk Road train connections in Poland.
  • In the academic year 2016/2017, the sessions of the Public Finance and EU Project Financing Research Clubs were attended, apart from our students supervised by   Jacek Sierak, PhD were attended by invited local government representatives: the mayor of the Town and Municipality of Pilawa, the mayor of the Mokotów District of the capital city of Warsaw, and deputy mayor of Town of Sulejówek. The year's work brought fruit in the form of a two-volume monograph entitled "The Use of EU Subsidies Within the Scope of Regional Operating Programmes in 2007-2013", covering the assessment of utilising EU funding in respective Polish voivodships and (as a case study) at the Town and Municipality of Pilawa. It is yet another expert analysis drafted at our University for Polish local government authorities.
  • The "E-Commerce" monograph co-authored by Łukasz Konopielka, PhD received the prestigious Award of the President of the Polish Association of Telecommunication Engineers.
  • Professor Marian Guzek's book  The Future of Capitalism. Cessionalism inspired a seminar on "The Future of Capitalism in Light of Changes in the Basics of its Doctrine."
  • The article by Olha Zadoroshna, PhD entitled "Security of property rights and transition in land use" was published in English in an A-list journal (Journal of Comparative Economics) and awarded 25 points.

Achievements of our students and alumni

  • TEDxLazarskiUniversity, the first TED conference at Lazarski University, was held on 20 May 2017. TED conferences are very popular but also require meeting several strict conditions. We owe the fact of meeting them successfully to the organisers on the part of Lazarski University: Anna Ananczikowa and Bruno Ciechowski, students of the Faculty of Economics and Management.
  • The competition within the scope of the Warsaw Business Game took place in May 2017. During the event, the best teams from Warsaw universities were faced with a case simulating a real business situation. The competition was initiated by Aksen Semak, Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics student at the Faculty of Economics and Management.
  • The LEAPin Warsaw conference accompanied with creative entrepreneurship workshop was held in April 2017 at the very prestigious location, namely the Google Campus in Warsaw. It was the Polish edition of the LEAPin conference that is held in many European capitals which, for a day, become centres of knowledge, innovativeness, and development. Warsaw had the opportunity to become such centre thanks to the initiative of our Faculty of Economics and Management student Paweł Wielądek.
  • In May, our University hosted the third edition of the Talent Show during which the students had the opportunity to present their talents to a wide audience.
  • In July 2017, Lazarski University economy and law student Julia Kozłowska was invited to participate in the third edition of the prestigious Eastern Partnership Youth Forum. It is a platform for exchanging experience and opinions about mobility, including among others within the scope of the Erasmus Plus programme, the situation of young people in the EU and partner countries, and the opportunities and possibilities afforded by the European Neighbourhood Policy.  
  • In May 2017, the students of the Faculty of Law and Administration prepared a project within the scope of the non-competition conceptual undertaking "Best of the Best! 2.0." The academic project "Polish Space Law" is aimed at establishing the first academic legal centre in Poland to focus on Space Law and devising legal solutions regarding Polish Space Law. The project is coordinated by Assistant Professor Anna Konert, PhD habil.
  • In November 2016, law student Agnieszka Kowalczyk was elected representative of private universities at the Expert Team of the Polish Accreditation Committee for student affairs for the first time.
  • The first meeting initiating the "Top Young 100" programme was held at the seat of the Polish Supply Management Leaders on 31 March.  It was attended by Lazarski University students Michał Więch and Chingiz Karimow. The programme was initiated by Professor Aleksandra Laskowska-Rutkowska, PhD habil., the Director of the Centre for Logistics and Innovation at Lazarski. The aim of the programme is to support skill development among the most talented logistics students in Poland.
  • On 8-11 May 2017, a group of students of the validated BA studies in Business Economics paid a visit to Coventry University. Organised with the funds obtained thanks to the Santander Universidades Foundation, it was also the first stage of the cooperation between Lazarski University and Coventry University students within the scope of the second student economics conference European and Global Economic Issues. In that respect, the students worked jointly on projects connected with current micro- and macroeconomic events and presented the results of their efforts on 19 May 2017 at the conference ending the International Week. During the International Week, our University also hosted guest lectures for Lazarski students held by foreign speakers.
  • Our tennis team, comprising: Kamil Majchrzak, Hubert Hurkacz, Adrian Andrzejczuk, and Dominik Nazaruk, won the first place at the Polish Academic Championships.
  • At the Polish Academic Championships, the gold, silver and bronze medals in judo were won by Żaneta Rerutko, Dzianis Ignatok, and Martyna Dobrowolska, respectively.
  • The gold medal in kick-boxing at the Polish Academic Championships was won by Radosław Paczuski. Moreover, Radosław Paczuski also won individually the K-1 Global World Championship, the Polish Championship, the World Cup, and the Championship of the DSF Federation. He didn't lose a single fight.
  • Rower Weronika Deresz won the European Championship in the W2x category.

Rankings and awards

  • Lazarski University Faculty of Law and Administration was ranked first among private universities for the eighth time in a row in the 10th ranking of law faculties prepared by "Dziennik Gazeta Prawna". Law faculties were appraised in four categories: faculty members, quality and potential of education, requirements and student quality, and the number of graduates passing the pupillage exam. The Faculty of Law and Administration of Lazarski University achieved 94 points out of 111 in total (read more HERE).
  • Lazarski University assumed the 4th place among private universities in the 2016 ranking of the "Perspektywy" monthly. The ranking was based on such criteria as: prestige, academic potential, teaching conditions, innovativeness, and internationalisation (you can find the "Perspektywy" rankingHERE).
  • Lazarski University assumed the 2nd position in the "Rzeczpospolita" 5th Ranking of Legal Faculties in the private universities category.
  • Lazarski University was distinguished in the Genius Universitatis 2016 competition,
    assuming the 2nd position in the University Facebook Fanpage (out of 36 contestants)
     and 3rd place in the Online Enrolment Service category (read more HERE).
  • Having reviewed the report of the Appraisal Team and the University's position as well as the report of the Social Sciences Team in the field of social and legal sciences that appraised the curriculum of the "international relations" course at Lazarski University Faculty of Law and Administration, conducted in the form of first-cycle and second-cycle studies with a general academic profile, the State Accreditation Committee awarded the course a distinction (read moreHERE).

  • Małgorzata Sieradzka, PhD obtained her habilitation degree under the Resolution of the University of Łódź Faculty of Law and Administration Board (read more HERE).
  • Maria Libura, Vice President for Strategy, was invited to participate in the works of the Rare Diseases Work Group at the Ministry of Health (read more HERE)
  • Lazarski University Rector Professor Krystyna Iglicka-Okólska, PhD habil.,  received the Honorary Award from the Foundation for the Development of Education and Higher Education (read more HERE).
  • Jacek Kosonoga, PhD habil., received an award from the Wolters Kluwer publishing house and the editors of "Przegląd sądowy" for "the most useful legal book in judiciary practice."
  • The monograph „Instrumenty prawne przysługujące poszkodowanym lub zagrożonym naruszeniem prawa antymonopolowego w prawie Stanów Zjednoczonych i w prawie Unii Europejskiej” [Legal instruments due to the victims or potential victims of anti-trust law violations in the US and EU legal systems] by Marek Kolasiński, PhD habil. was nominated for the prestigious Leon Petrażycki Award of the Anti-Trust Law Institute (CARS).
  • Assistant Professor Wojciech Bieńkowski, PhD habil. was appointed member of the Supervisory Board of PGNiG (read more HERE).
  • Professor Józef M. Fiszer, PhD habil., was appointed deputy chairman of the Political Science Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences (read more HERE).
  • Assistant Professor Małgorzata Manowska, PhD habil. was appointed director of the National School of Judiciary and Public Prosecution in Kraków (read more HERE).
  • Professor Brunon Hołyst was appointed President of the Polish Association of Suicidology (read more HERE).
  • The legal team of the All-Poland Union of Supporters Associations (OZSK) of which Mateusz Dróżdż, PhD is a member, prepared a draft of a new law on the security of mass events (read more HERE).
  • Jan Grzymski, PhD received a prestigious Corbridge Trust research grant to undertake a study visit to Royal Halloway, University of London  (read more HERE).
  • Kazimierz Strzyczkowski, PhD habil., was awarded the title of professor by the President of Poland.
  • Bauyrzhan Zhanuzakov, assistant lecturer at the Department of Political Studies at Lazarski University, took part in the prestigious Visegrad Summer School organised by the Villa Decius Association in Kraków. 43 promising undergraduate students, doctoral students, researchers, and experts from the East European Visegrad Group were selected to take part in the summer school (read more HERE).
  • Dean of the Faculty of Law and Administration Mieczysław Błoński, PhD, was appointed board member of the Polish Association of Private Employers in Education. Doctor Błoński was appointed Deputy President of the Association's board (read more HERE).

Achievements of our students and alumni

  • On 31 marca 2016, Kinga Trochimiuk, Paweł Wielądek, Eliza Gabler, Justyna Piaseczna, and Maciej Chmielewski appeared on Agata Młynarska's programme "Świat się kręci".
  • The Project Management Research Club drafted an "Analysis and Assessment of the Financial Situation of Pionki" at the request of the mayor of Pionki; their work was presented at the Local Activity Centre.
  • Tomasz Chodkiewicz, graduate of long-cycle studies in Economics, was appointed Director for Fleet Sales of the PSA Group in Poland (read more HERE).
  • Mateusz Czesak was awarded a scholarship of the Minister of Science and Higher Education for outstanding achievements (read more HERE).
  • The International Air Law Moot Court in which the students of Lazarski University Aviation Law Research Club Avion took part was held on 7-10.04.2016 in Jakarta (read more HERE).
  • Mariusz Pyżyński qualified for a traineeship project organised by the Civil Aviation Authority and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
  • Our basketball team assumed the 3rd place in the general classification and the 1st place among private universities in the finals of the Polish Academic Championships (read more HERE).
  • Kamil Majchrzak was appointed to the Polish national tennis team and will represent Poland in the World Team  Championships (read more HERE).
  • Lazarski University graduate Sebastian Rozwadowski took part in the 2016 Dakar Rally. Sebastian was a co-driver in the Polish-Lithuanian team with the driver Benediktas Vanagas. The gentlemen assumed the 27th position in the general classification (read more HERE).
  • During the ceremonial Graduation, the Internship and Job Placement Division awarded the "Intern of the Year" award to Marina Juszczyk, first-cycle studies graduate and second-cycle studies student.
  • Pursuant to the decision issued by the competition jury, the Lazarski Diamond winners are: Justyna Matuszak-Leśny and Mateusz, graduates of Lazarski University Faculty of Law and Administration (read more HERE).
  • Our University tennis team, comprising Kamil Majchrzak, Adrian Andrzejczuk, Dominik Nazaruk, and Paweł Zieliński, achieved two victories against its rivals from Leon Kozminski University (read more HERE).
  • Adrian Andrzejczuk and Mateusz Smolicki triumphed at the ITF tournament on hard courts in Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt.
  • Dzianis Ihnatok assumed the third place on the box in the Senior Polish Judo Cup.
  • Lazarski University students Aleksandra Detyniecka and Elwira Targońska qualified for internships at the European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation Eurocontrol in Brussels.
  • Twelve best English-speaking students of the International Relations major at Lazarski University took part in the international educational and research project "We the Young People of Europe. Mirroring the Work of the European Parliament. Dialogue Between Young People and Policy Makers” that ended in a simulated parliament session in Lecce, Italy (read more HERE).
  • Kamil Majchrzak vanquished Florian Mayer in Davis Cup in Berlin. It was his first victory in Davis Cup as well as the greatest achievement in his tennis career to date (read more HERE).
  • Lazarski University graduate Marcin Sieńczyk was appointed managing director at Absolvent.pl. Marcin had pursued the International Trade major.
  • Dariusz Wójcik was appointed Deputy General Director at Continental, the international supplier for the automotive industry. Dariusz had studied Marketing at Lazarski University.
  • Kamil Majchrzak is officially Poland's best tennis player. After overtaking Jerzy Janowicz in the classification, he is now listed 271st in the ATP ranking as well as the best male singles player in the country (read more HERE).
  • The Scholarship Commission selected this year's beneficiaries of the Lazarski University Foundation, including Faculty of Economics and Management students Anastasiya Kolos, Jarosław Kolos, Jarosław Kosyra, Angelika Kucyk, and Paweł Wielądek (read more HERE).
  • The University futsal team took part in the First Year Students' Tournament Varsoviada.
  • Law student Agnieszka Kowalczyk was elected representative of private universities at the Expert Team of the Polish Accreditation Committee for student affairs for the first time.

  • Professor Józef M. Fiszer,PhD habil., Head of the Department of International Political Relations at Lazarski Universit, appointed Vice Chairman of the Committee on Political Sciences of the Polish Academy of Science (read MORE).

  • Karolina Sochacka, student of the Faculty of Law and Administration, receives a diploma of the Academy of Young Diplomats at the European Academy of Diplomacy.
  • Katarzyna Anna Przybyła, Faculty of Economics and Management graduate, receives the prestigious Fulbright Graduate Student Award which will allow her to pursue her studies in the USA.
  • Michał Rostek, International Relations student, fashion model, dancer and choreographer, represents Poland at the MR WORLD 2014 competition.
  • Dżianis Ihnatok, second-year student of International Relations, wins the gold medal at the International Tournament "Sambo-Germaniade" in Berlin. Sambo is a Russian martial art that combines judo with regional varieties of wrestling encountered in the former USSR.
  • Łukasz Kiełbasiński wins the silver medal at the Junior European Judo Cup in Wrocław.
  • Tomasz Rudko and Michał Wojtyński win the 5th place in the Basketball 3x3 World Championship in Moscow.

  • Szymon Balcerzak, student of the Faculty of Law and Administration, wins the National Law Games Competition organised by the European Law Students Association ELSA Poland and the Wierzbowski Eversheds law firm. The competition award is an internship with Wierzbowski Eversheds.
  • Three of our alumni receive awards in the Rising Stars Lawyers - Leaders of Tomorrow 2013 ranking by "Dziennik Gazeta Prawna":
    • Russian Law School graduate Milena Bogdanowicz wins the 1st place,
    • Faculty of Law and Administration graduate Michał Paprocki assumes the 18th place,

  • Anna Konert, PhD, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law and Administration, wins the scholarship competition held by the Minister of Science and Higher Education. She is also granted membership of the prestigious "SOS Catastrophes European Network of Disaster Victims" in Paris.
  • Mateusz Dróżdż, MA, lecturer at the Faculty of Law and Administration, is awarded a distinction in the "Pro Bono Lawyer" competition organised by the "Rzeczpospolita" daily. He is also appointed member of the permanent Expert Group of the Mass Event Security Council, established by Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

  • Rafał Dąbrowski, student at the Faculty of Law and Administration, is named laureate in the 17th edition of the "Grasz o staż" competition organised by PwC and "Gazeta Wyborcza". As a result, he wins an internship with Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA.
